Brejninggaard boarding school
Case story:
Brejninggaard is a boarding scool in Denmark which carries gymnastics and experiences from the gymnastics centre right into the classroom! As one of the few boarding schools in Denmark, Brejninggaard school offers the students the opportunity to to exercise in TeamGym at the highest level and has one of the best TeamGym teams in Denmark. The facilities are so good for high-level gymnastics that the school is even home to the Danish TeamGym national teams. The school has two gymnastics centres - so very well equipped that they have some of the best jumping facilities in Denmark. The instructors are also among the best gymnastics coaches in Denmark.
The extremely high level and the great passion for gymnastics make the facilities crucial for reaching the ultimate jumping experience, so the expectations are very high for the school, which is why Brejninggaard Efterskole has chosen PE-Redskaber as its partner. At PE-Redskaber we are very well known for our extremely high standard of product quality.
Solution and statements
Big inground trampolines
Big inground trampolines "It is smart in its design and safer for the users of the trampoline, as there is no extra drop from the trampoline to the floor. The quality is very good".
- Mathias Morsing
""Our inground big trampolines are super-good equipment, suitable for all levels, from beginners doing their first backwards somersaults to the advanced ones doing triple rotations. They give the gymnast a great air awareness, which is invaluable when our gymnasts need to take their jumps onto other equipment later on."
- Magnus Oscarsson
"The trampolines from PE-Redskaber are a better quality than others on the market".
- Martin Pilgaard
"Clearly the best large trampolines I have set foot on. Guess it comes from the new jumping bed. I have trained in many of the Danish gymnastics centres, and these are clearly the best".
- Daniel Hove Nielsen
"We have chosen inground big trampolines - it is almost a must in every gymnastics centre. It offers a lot of good training opportunities, as it is a slow apparatus, where both skilled gymnasts and beginners can be challenged in technical exercises and final jumps".
- Rasmus Klock
"The inground big trampolines are great equipment for training beginners, as well as skilled gymnasts".
- Rasmus Scaaning
Nedbyggede Fast Track
"Same as the trampolines - it's good that there's no extra drop from the Fast Track to the floor in case you accidentally jump off the side. It also makes the jump centre more mobile. The quality is really good - it's not too soft, meaning it's a Fast Track which you can be fast on. So the jump from Fast Track to airtracks is not as big as from a classic soft Fast Track."
- Mathias Morsing
"Our inground Fast Track is 25 m long, so it is possible for the advanced gymnasts to practice flow and transitions. Beginners can practice small combinations, so you can easily have two stations at the same time".
- Magnus Oscarsson
"Again, excellent quality and it just works. There is some more down-bending on the jumping bed than in our old Fast Track".
- Martin Pilgaard
"Again, like the big trampolines, the best I have jumped on to this day. Really really good resistance. Not too hard, not too soft".
- Daniel Hove Nielsen
"The Fast Track is really good for training with softer take-offs, so when students have to learn new jumps, it's good equipment to use. It is good for both the small technical exercises and the new final jumps, where you really need to get some extra height on."
- Rasmus Klock
"The Fast Track is a great device for training new jumps or jumps with minimal run-up. PE-Redskaber's Fast Track is incredibly bouncy, giving gymnasts almost the same feeling as on a regular track, but with less energy required from them".
- Rasmus Scaaning
Open pits
"All in all, a very good pit. It is not too soft and has good elasticity".
- Mathias Morsing
"We use it every day. The pits are neither too soft nor too hard. You can easily land your jumps without falling over. And understeer without getting hurt".
- Magnus Oscarsson
"The choice of PE jumping pits was primarily because of the quality and the way the foam is built up - it gives a much longer durability".
- Martin Pilgaard
"Super good to land in".
- Daniel Hove Nielsen
"The pits are very stable, firm and bouncy, which makes a good, safe landing surface that you can easily move in".
- Rasmus Klock
"With the foam they use, PE-Redskaber has now created a jumping pit solution that is incredibly good. The pits are very stable to stand in as a spotter, while being soft to land in for the gymnast".
- Rasmus Scaaning
Loose foam pit with air cushion
"The loose foam pit is very good and easy to handle - especially with the air cushion, which also increases the durability!".
- Mathias Morsing
"Our loose foam pit is ideal for trying out new jumps; it gives the gymnast that final confidence leading to a turn or rotation. It's great that the pit "fluffs" itself, so the cubes will never be compressed and we are sure about getting soft landings every time".
- Magnus Oscarsson
"Anyone can make a hole with foam blocks, but the puffer is extremely ingenious and innovative - and provides a much better landing for gymnasts".
- Martin Pilgaard
"The loose foam pit works as well as I thought it would. We have had a lower amount of twisting injuries than you usually have in a normal foam pit".
- Daniel Hove Nielsen
"We often use the loose foam pit when trying out new and unfamiliar skills. With the pit, you have the opportunity to focus only on the jump and not on the landing. We have an air cushion in the pit, which just makes it so easy and we don't need to spend time on loosening the cubes up".
- Rasmus Klock
"A loose foam pit with an air cushion is highly recommended. The puffer ensures that you get a loose foam pit within a short time, where the cubes aren't compressed, which would make it harder for the gymnasts".
- Rasmus Scaaning
DMT-Special hydraulic
(bit trampoline with height adjustment and tilting function on both ends)
"The DMT-Special is a great tool, as you can use it for thousands of technique stations, whether forwards or backwards. It can also be used as an additional big trampoline, which is only another plus. Moreover, it is easy to handle and gymnasts love it. It helps making training more fun as you can use it for creative set-ups!"
- Mathias Morsing
"We use our DMT big trampoline a lot in our daily training, mostly for technique stations, such as rocket track, which gives the gymnast a lot of speed and the opportunity to focus on the hurtle in both round-offs and handsprings. The same set-up can be used to practice the gymnasts' in-jump into a mini trampoline. The DMT is slower than a regular mini trampoline, so the gymnast has more time to use the right technique for a good start in the mini".
- Magnus Oscarsson
"We use it mainly for technical stations. For a regular DMT, it is too slow, but it is brilliantly helpful for technique as a rocket track training for medium and small children, for whom the normal trampolines are too hard. The construction is very strong and I think it will never break, due to the product quality"
- Martin Pilgaard
"Really cool equipment with good versatility. Can be really good for space/equipment shortage, as it can be used in so many different ways. We have used it as everything from rocket track, to standing exercises, transition training and even as a high pit."
- Daniel Hove Nielsen
"We chose the trampoline because we wanted a flexible apparatus that could be modified and used for all kinds of technique stations - both for mini trampoline technique and track technique stations. In general, the trampoline is a good piece of equipment that can be used by everyone, but it is also a luxury item for very large centres, where the equipment and quality must be top".
- Rasmus Klock
"One of the new things in the world of jumping. When we bought it, not many people in Denmark had it, so we didn't really know what possibilities it could offer. But after using it, we have to say that it was a good purchase. The possibilities for different jumping setups are multiplied when you can raise the whole trampoline or tilt it to either floor or pit."
- Rasmus Scaaning
Storage room
"It's good that all the equipment can be easily stored and it doesn't take a lot of time to put it neatly in an equipment room".
- Mathias Morsing
"We have chosen to use PE-Redskaber's equipment solution in our new centre. They have delivered a great-looking and well-thought-through solution for us".
