Safe Transition – Airtrack+ to foam pit
With a transition piece from an AirTrack Plus to a foam pit, the gap that occurs between the end of the airtrack and the foam pit is filled. The transition piece is designed with a rounded edge that follows the airtrack and features a strong Velcro flap to ensure a tight closure.
The height of the transition is designed to rest on the edge of the foam pit. We have several different models of transitions. This transition has the same width – 285 cm – as our AirTrack Plus.
We also have a narrower transition pieces with a width of 180 cm. All models are made to fit perfectly with your equipment.
The transition is built up by 2 different kinds of foams. The upper half of the foam is made of a firm and very shock-resistant type, while the lower half is made of a softer, more airy type. This combination of foam acts like a spring if a gymnast were to land with great force on the transition. A firm surface that gradually absorbs the impact.
