Company description

History of PE-Redskaber

The production of gymnastic equipment started by chance in 1990, when Ribe Rep. team needed a wooden box for travel use. Preben is an educated farmer and has always been doing gymnastics. He and some friends produced the plest for travelling with their gymnastics team and after several requests for a similar product, Preben later produced these on his own, as his friends no longer had time for it.

PE-Redskaber was founded on 1 February 1993 on Preben's father's farm in Harreby. The name of the company is based on Preben's first and last name. In 1994, Preben quit his job to work on an order for transport wagons for equipment for the National Conference in Svendborg in that year. His first employee was hired in 1996 and in 2002, PE-Redskaber moved to Fole. In 2000, the company was converted into a joint stock company and is today 100% owned by Harreby Holding, which is also 100% owned by Preben. PE-Redskaber has a professional board of directors who, together with our managing director, provide the overall and strategic management and ensure that we are a strong company in the market.

PE-Redskaber sells goods both to the Danish market and abroad; we also have part-time salespeople in Sweden, Norway and the UK, plus dealers in Portugal and Germany, as well as in other countries. PE-Redskaber also has the websites, Trampolincenter.dk. from where we sell garden trampolines and accessories in Denmark, and GlobalAirtrack.dk, from where we sell Global Airtracks for private and club use to the whole world. PE-Redskaber has also developed PE RemoteCare, an online service system used to register customers' gymnastics equipment. All products can be registered in this system and the system can also be used to plan customers' purchases and maintenance of their gymnastics equipment.

With Preben's motto in mind, we want to be the market leader: "It's not an art to gain a customer; it's an art to keep the customer coming back."
